The East Moriches School District is pleased to announce that we have received funding for a Universal Pre-Kindergarten Program for the 2026-2027 school year. The program will take place at the East Moriches Elementary School. The program is five days per week and will be full-day.
The school district does not provide transportation. Students will be selected by lottery on April 1, 2026, at 10 a.m., in the elementary school cafeteria. There are a limited number of openings. If the limit isn’t reached, there will not be a need for the lottery. If this happens, you will be sent an email informing you that your child has secured a spot in the program and that the lottery is cancelled.
Parents and guardians of students who will be 4 years old on or before December 1, 2026, are invited to submit a lottery application. If you are interested in the Universal Pre-Kindergarten Program for your child, please submit the form below by February 13, 2026, to Ms. Jackie Franke.
You may drop it off at the middle school, mail it to the middle school, fax it to 631-909-1379, or email it to [email protected]. If you have any questions, please feel free to call (631) 878-0162 extension 515. You will be sent a registration packet once you have submitted the lottery application. In order to be included in the lottery, you must submit the completed registration packet no later than March 27, 2026. Comprehensive registration details will be provided with the mailing.
